About the Lansing Center Trail
The Lansing Center Trail was opened to the public in January of 2011. It is a quiet and well kept scenic walking trail that passes through fields, streams, and small wooded areas. Located at 90 Auburn Road in the Town of Lansing, the trail consists of 7.7 miles of town-owned land. It is designed as a perimeter path with several smaller interior loops and wonderful views of the Cayuga Lake Valley. The trail is home to an abundance of wildlife and plant life, with meadows of wildflowers that attract many bird and butterfly species. Trail use is currently limited to walking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Dogs are welcome but must be on a short leash at all times.
